“ Best poutine I have ever had !!! It's definitely worth the detour. The poutine sauce is so full of flavour, the french fries are cooked to perfection, and the cheese they use really rounds out the whole dish. The cheeseburger was delicious and cooked to perfection, and the hotdog was dressed perfectly. But a must is their swirl ice cream and sorbet, vanilla/raspberry... I bought a large to share with my daughter and fully regret not getting her her own. It was absolutely delicious!!!!! They have their own hot sauce, which was delicious, not too spicy, and full of flavour, I ended up buying a bottle to bring home. They also have a small selection of wines, attire, and hot sauces. Staff was friendly, and the service was quick. ”

“ First night in Quebec and we find this absolute gem of a restaurant!!! The food was freshly made and delicious! The pizza we chose had a pesto base with olives, prosciutto, peppers, arugula and lots of cheese! Perfection! The smoked poutine and the bouchees de fromage was delicious too! ”

“ The gourmande poutine was the best poutine i have ever had. The chicken popcorn poutine not so much, as if the gravy was different than the other. In general the fries are really tasty compared to other places and don’t get saggy and the gravy has well balanced taste with nice kick of spice. ( we had the small size) ”

“ Wanted poutine the whole time we were in old Quebec. Ended up at this place on our way to our air BNB. Was so happy to stumble upon it. The service was some of the best we’ve had on our 5 day trip. We were a family of 5 adults and 4 kids. They accommodated so well and food was delicious. I can’t remember the servers name, but she really made the experience what it was. Kind, humble, and shared her knowledge of the area for our stay. ”

“ We recently visited Le Shack with a group of 9 hungry skiers. We knew very little about this place before going, other than the fact that the name was super cool and fun to say (really fun to say). When we walked in, it was literally everything that it was supposed to be. The atmosphere is perfect, the food super delicious, and the service was warm, fun, and very friendly. This is a really special place and it's now on the 'must visit' list for anytime we are near Quebec City. Congratulations to the owners and staff for creating such a perfect 'Shack'. ”

“ Easy to park. There is a toilet. Near gas station. Food is good. The French fries is delicious. We eat two boxes Poutines and a Hamburger and a box of French Fries. Total price is about $70. ”

“ Spectacular! The best poutine I’ve had - get The Shack, it comes with real fresh cheese curds and veggies cooked down to perfection. Perfect for our big group and then soft serve ice cream with sorbet for dessert. The outside doesn’t look like much, but the views, service, and food was better than expected! ”
